eSignal divides Historical Data into three types: Tick, Intraday, and Daily (which also covers larger time intervals, such as Weekly or Monthly). With the exception of today's Daily data, Daily data is updated once per day and includes the Open, High, Low, Close, and Volume information. Intraday data comprises intervals that are smaller than Daily, such as Minute or Second intervals, and Tick data includes raw Ticks (like Time and Sales) and Tick bars (like 1T or 10000V).
What is provided by Default in the Subscription?
eSignal provides a default amount of historical data that is included in your base subscription package. The following date ranges are approximations for the majority of symbols in that category, and the date range as a whole may not apply for all symbols:
