Regional Options
Regional Options are option quotes from specific exchanges (PSE, AMEX, ISE, CBOE and PHIL)
The Requirements Needed for Regional Options
In order to have access to Regional Options you must subscribe to Market Depth and OPRA (Options Price Reporting Authority) on the eSignal Real-Time Product. Click here for details on pricing.
How to View Regional Options
There are several options available for you to see your Regional Options quotes. You can right click on a specific option in an Option window and choose Regional Option to open it in either a Market Depth window, or you can enter the symbol directly in a Market Depth, Quote, Summary, Detail, or Portfolio window. If the specific option is currently displayed in a Quote, Summary, Detail, or Portfolio window, you can also right click and choose Regional Option to open it.
How to Enter the Option Symbol in the Quote Window if You Only Want to See Quotes From a Specific Exchange.
Each exchange has an identifier, which is used with the option quote to view the data. If you type in the specific exchange abbreviation along with the options symbol, you will only see the quotes from that exchange.
Example using OSI symbol format:
O:IBM 10S100.00=B (IBM July 2010 Put at 100.00 from the Boston Stock Exchange)
In our example, we use B for the Boston Stock Exchange.
