Symbology Change for Italian Index Symbols

Please be aware that the data for the Italian Equity Indices is now provided by the FTSE Group and consequently, there has been a change in their symbology. 
  
Two of the more popular indices, (SPMIB) $G945-MIL and (ALLSTAR) $952-MIL, will be changed to $FTSEMIB-MIL and $ITSTAR-MIL respectively. These two new symbols will be available on July 7, 2009. Please note that all historical and intraday data will be moved to the new symbols.  Please update your charts, quote windows, formulas, tickers, DDE links, and so forth with the NEW symbols.

Below you will find the list of the new Italian Index Symbols that went into effect on June 1, 2009. The new symbol format will be more intuitive in identifying the index.
