eSignal - Style Templates

Style Templates allow you to customize a window in eSignal in terms of colors, font, indicators and more. Once you have customized your settings in the chart, you can apply them as a default any new or existing chart by setting a default Style Template.

The Style Template menu is part of the toolbar at the top of the Chart Window.

You can also access the Style Template menu by right-clicking i the the chart window and selecting Style Template



Saving a Style Template
To save a Style Template, open a chart and change the settings (i.e. Colors, Font and Indicators) that you would like to use as the default for New Charts. Right-click the in chart window and select Style Template then click Save As… The dialog box below will open.  Enter a new name (BLUE TEMPLATE) and click Save.



Applying the Style Template to a Chart
Now that you have created a custom Style Template, you can open a New Chart and apply the Style Template by right-clicking the mouse, and clicking the on name of the Template you just created.



Applying the Style Template to Current Page
There is a feature that will allow you to apply a style template to all the charts in your page.  This is useful when dealing with multiple charts where you would like them all to be uniform in style.  Right-click the chart that is displaying the desired Template and select Style Template. Click Apply to Current Page and  the Style Template will be applied to all other charts on the page.

Applying the Style Template to all open Pages
If you want to apply a particular Style Template to all open pages, right-click the chart which has the desired style template and select Style Templates followed by Apply to All Pages.



Style Template Default
If you wish to apply your current chart style as the default for new charts, select Set as Default.  Any new charts opened will use the new default setting.  Additionally, you can apply the default style template to any other chart by selecting Default in the right-click menu. 

Restoring default settings to the Original Defaults
To restore the defaults to the original defaults that came with the program, click Restore Original Defaults.
