Opening Windows
To open a new window, such as a watch list or a chart, click New from the main menu then select a window type (i.e. chart, watch list, etc).
By default, the page mode in the program is set to Docked, which means that any new window that is open will snap right next to the other windows in the page without overlapping them. You can change the window mode to Standard or Standard with AutoSize by clicking the eSignal button (blue button next to new) and selecting Application Properties, then Appearance.
The Standard Mode allows you to manually manipulate the size and position of the windows:
Windows Menu
The main windows menu is displayed by selecting windows on the main eSignal menu bar:

Auto-Hide Title bars: Title bars of inactive windows will be hidden and then reappear when the window is active again.
Hide All Title Bars: Hides title bars on all windows on the page.
Show All Title Bars: When selected, the title bars will be be displayed on all windows.
Tile: Arranges windows in a tile pattern.
Arrange Horizontally: Arranges windows horizontally within the page.
Arrange Vertically: Arranges windows vertically within the page.
Cascade: Arranges windows in cascade pattern.
Manage Windows: Displays the following dialog box:
Remove: Removes the selected window from the page.
Attach: Puts the selected window back into the program.
Detach: Allows a window to be "floated outside the program.
Detached On Top: Enables the selected window to be detached and always be displayed on top of any other window in a monitor.
Close: When selected, closes the Mange Windows dialog box.
Title Bar Windows Menu Icon
Clicking the icon next to the minimize button enables for following actions for the window:
Hide Title Bar: The title bar of the window will be hidden.
Minimize: Minimizes the window.
Restore: Puts window into restore mode.
Capture image: An image of the window is created in the snapshot window to be saved, e-mailed, printed, etc.
Attach Window: Puts the selected window back into the program.
Detach Window: Allows a window to be "floated outside the program.
Detach Window (on top): Enables the window to be detached and always be displayed on top of any other window in a monitor.
Duplicate Window: Creates a duplicate of the window.
Rename: Enable you to change the name of the window.
Refresh: Refreshes the datafeed into the window.

Help: Displays a context-based help window.
Close: Closes the window.

Detached Windows
You can detach or float windows outside the program by clicking in the title bar of the window and dragging it to another monitor. The image below shows the content of two monitors, the monitor on the left shows eSignal with a watch list and a chart vertically aligned; the monitor on the right shows a time and sales and a chart that have been arranged one on top of the other.
To bring a window back into the program, you can click the icon next to the "minimize" and then click Attach Window. another way to attach a window is by using Manage Windows. click Windows up in the main menu bar and then click Manage Windows, then highlight the line that describes the window you want to attach, it will show 'detached'. Click the button Attach located at the bottom of the dialog box. The window will be back in the program.
Another way to detach a window is by clicking the button next to the "minimize" and selecting Detach Window or Detach Window (On Top), the second one will detach the window and set it up to always be in-front other windows. After detaching the window, click the title bar and drag it to another monitor.
