Merging Historical Data When a Symbol Changes
While most stocks have their history merged automatically from the old symbol to the new one, we will occasionally miss one. If you notice one we have missed, please contact us or submit a report to our Report a Questionable Price.
Note: Nasdaq will sometimes add a 5th character to their symbols to denote various special exceptions. If the 5th character is a C (Issuer qualifications exceptions), D (New) or E (Delinquent in required filings with the SEC) we do not merge the history to this symbol due to it being a temporary symbol.
