JASDAQ and OSE (Osaka Securities Exchange) Symbol Change
Please note that the format for the JASDAQ exchange will be changing this week. Currently the JASDAQ uses a 5 character format with 0 as the last character. Starting on October 10, 2010, the 5th character will be dropped. Here is a sample of the new symbol format for JASDAQ:

In addition, the exchange will be moving a subset of symbols currently listed on the OSE (Osaka Securities Exchange) to the JASDAQ Exchange. Here is a sample of some of the symbols that will be moving:
