Notice Regarding QCharts
QCharts is classified as Legacy Software, which is to say, it is no longer supported by our Development Team, and we cannot make guarantees of its continued performance. As newer versions of the Windows Operating System are released, or as patches to the Windows Operating System are developed and published to devices running their software, it may be the case where a patch may cause the program to no longer run on computers running Windows, or newer versions may not allow QCharts to install.
As the software is no longer supported by our Development Team, please note that no further improvements to the software, or fixes to existing or new issues within the software will be done, and you must use the software as-is.
As such, we recommend switching to the latest version of eSignal instead, which is included in your QCharts subscription at no extra cost to you, and you can find the latest version of eSignal here.

Installing a Different Version of the Data Manager
In some versions of Windows you may find that QCharts launches, but that the status bars in the bottom right-hand corner all display as Red indicating an issue with the Data Manager, even after waiting a considerable amount of time for everything to load in, it may be that the Data Manager version that was installed with QCharts is not compatible with the current version of Windows you are using.
To resolve this issue, please follow these instructions:
- If you have QCharts already open, keep the program open and running.
- Download Data Manager Build Version 447 from here.
- Once downloaded, open File Explorer and go to your “Downloads” folder.
- Double-click on the “dm.447.exe” file that was downloaded to run the program. (If prompted, Allow the program to Run.)
- Wait for the Installer to load to a screen called “Welcome to the eSignal Data Manager”
- Read the Agreement, check the box next to “I accept the terms in the License Agreement”, and click “Next”.
- In the “Data Manager Connection settings” screen that appears next, it should autofill with your username and password for QCharts (if not, please fill these two fields out) at which point you just need to click “Next”.
- In the next screen you will see “Ready to Install”. Click “Install” and then wait for the program to finish installing the Data Manager.
- In the final screen you will see “Completing the eSignal Data Manager Setup Wizard”. Here you can click “Finish” to close the installer.
- In order to get the Data Manager to open automatically, it needs to be manually launched once. To do so, open File Explorer and navigate to “This PC” > Program Files (x86) > QCharts.
- Find the “winros” application (spelled with lowercase letters, NOT uppercase letters) and double-click on it to launch the Data Manager.
- In QCharts you should now see all the indicators at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen turn green (with the exception of MktDepth if you aren’t subscribed to that).
- Close File Explorer.
